As an object of study, the landscape is a polyhedron element based on the various factors configuring it. Therefore, it may only be dealt with from the multidisciplinary. As an annex to SILENCE, the biennial is showcasing a number of proposals which are the by-product of the research work of Universities and Landscape Schools. In collaboration with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the University of La Laguna, a number of workshops are to be developed, reflecting on landscape. The results will be exhibited in both Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Furthermore, other exhibitions will showcase the proposals from the various Landscape Schools presented at the last Barcelona Biennial; the proposals from the Landscape School of Reggio Emilia; the international 2G Competition. Park of Lagoon of Venice; and the proposals from the IUAV for the redevelopment of the banks of the Lagoon of Venice. In the last two cases, the area is presented as a laboratory in which certain conditionings converge to turn each intervention into a true challenge.
