ABSTRACT

These seminars are conceived around the special territorial plans for the landscape drawn up by the Island Council of Gran Canaria, the Island Council of Tenerife and the Island Council of La Palma, with their respective teams of professionals.

The idea is to open a debate aimed at reaching a balance of the possible actions to be taken on the island territories by this planning instrument, while always bearing in mind the guidelines established by the European Landscape Convention. With this aim in mind, taking part in the seminar are executives from UNISCAPE, who will be chairing the debate, which will also feature distinguished local experts and representatives from the teams who devised these plans.
